Hi there! My name is Macy, and I am currently a second year student at Thompson Rivers University. The purpose of this blog is to provide a space to post my personal Journalism 2060 exercises and assignments. The reason I am taking this course is to build credits in pursuit to earn entry into T.R.U.’s education program to reach my ultimate goal of teaching Kindergarten. Since I have finished all of the required courses the education program requires, I am now building credits through electives. I chose journalism as one because while I am interested in it, I have no knowledge about the multifaceted concept of multimedia journalism and I am eager to learn about it!

Other things I am interested in include finding new hiking spots around the Thompson-Okanagan, paddle boarding when the weather is warm enough and spending time with my family and friends. I am passionate about my education so during the summers while I am not attending classes I work hard to pay for them. Fun fact: working as a house-keeper this past summer, Spotify claims that in time I listened to at least 15000 minuets of true crime (No, I would not help you hide a body.)
